Football: Year 8 vs Capital City Academy

On Wednesday the 17th January 2018, Fulham Boys School played Capital City Academy in the QPR schools league.

The game kicked off, starting mainly as a game of possession with both teams passing the ball around and creating chances. Half way through the first half, a rebound from a corner found Chanse Headman just outside the box, volleying home to make it 1-0. Then around 10 minutes after the goal Capital City scored a tap in to make it 1-1. The game then turning more intense, Santi Triginer popped up with a goal to make it 2-1 to Fulham Boys giving them a spur on. Unfortunately, just before halftime, Capital City grabbed a second goal to make it 2-2.

After halftime and a few substitutions the game commenced. Five minutes into halftime Tyler Dean scored from corner after a superb inswinger from Blake Smith, giving FBS the lead at 3-2. From there onwards FBS took complete control over the game with Tyler Dean getting another goal to make it 4-2, Pablo Haynes lobbing the goalkeeper to make it 5-2, Neyrel Coker slotting the ball into the side netting to make it 6-2. Then right at the end Jahmal Sanderson scored a great individual goal by running past their whole team and going round the keeper to finish the game off making it 7-2 to FBS.

Great win and onto the next!!
