Jack Petchey Awards Evening

Jack Petchey Awards Evening

On January 18th our Jack Petchey winners from 2017 attended an awards evening at Kensington Town Hall to receive an award alongside other winners from the local area.

Harry Adams writes…. The Jack Petchey Achievement awards ceremony on January 29th was a great night for Fulham Boys School. It was held at the Kensington Town Hall, and the atmosphere was incredible. There were nine winners from FBS: Max Butlin, Max Wilson, Nerel Coker, Jacob Coyle, Benny Rocys, Harry Adams, Tobi Oduleye, Leo de Long and Alex Ednan-Laperouse. As well as this Jack Andrews performed a song in front of a huge crowd and was brilliant. The night was to celebrate the amazing acheivements of all of the boys as well as many others from around the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. All of the young achievers went up on stage to collect their medallions before having a photo with the Mayor of Hammersmith & Fulham. Each winner has received a grant of £250 to spend on something school related. It was a proud and very enjoyable night for both staff and students, and is one the boys will surely remember for years to come.
