House Captains

Each of our four houses has a captain and vice captain. Their role is to address the wants and needs of the students in their house and represent them at the school council and other school events. They also are invited to meet with the Headmaster once every half term and ensure that the student voice is represented in key decisions and development of the school.

My name is Gregory and I am 12 years old. I’m the House Captain of Brunel. I was born in London but my parents are from Brazil and Cyprus. I like London because there’s so many things to do here. My favourite thing to do is play music. I play guitar, trumpet and piano. I am currently on grade 6 in piano which is a great achievement for me. I wanted to be a House Captain because I think that I can lead my house to victory by taking opinions from other students and sharing them with Mr. Ebenezer (our head master). I will also encourage Brunel to try to win the competitions and get lots of House Points.

My name is Beau and I am 12 years old. I am House Captain of Dickens. To become House Captain you have to be good at speaking in front of people which I am. I wanted to be House Captain because I like a challenge and I want to try and win the house of the year again. I also wanted to be House Captain because I really like sport so I think I can lead Dickens to victory in the rugby and football competitions.

My name is Max and I am the Liddell House Captain. I am in year 8 and I am 12 years old. I wanted to become House Captain because I believe that with my guidance we can win the cup for Liddell. Liddell were so close to winning the cup last year and I believe that we can win the cup this year. That is why I wanted to be house captain. I also wanted to be House Captain because of the responsibility. I think it makes me more mature and makes me think on my toes. I like this school because I can be myself, I can express myself, the school will not force to be someone I am not and that is what I like about. I really like music, singing and sport.

My name is Jack, I am 11 years old and I am the Wilberforce House Captain. I wanted to become House Captain because I thought that I could lead my house to victory. I feel I am able to get along well with other boys which you need to do as a leader. I am good at public speaking as I have been taking drama lessons. I also have experience of being Vice Captain and have been on a school council so I knew what I needed to do. I like having fun but at the same time want to do my best which is what I want the whole team to do. I am looking forward to leading Wilberforce this year.
