FBS AT CAMBRIDGE
Fifteen pupils from the Latin club accompanied by Mr Lane and Mrs Champetier attended a trip to Cambridge on 23 April. They visited the Faculty of Classics where they discussed with one of the academics the importance of learning Classics and their relevance nowadays. They also visited the Museum of Classical Archaeology packed with exquisite Roman and Greek statues’ replicates. In the afternoon they went to Clare College, one of the oldest colleges in Cambridge. The group was very impressed by the imposing architecture of the place. And many are already looking forward to studying in one of the most prestigious universities in the world! A most successful and motivating trip indeed!
