FBS Remembrance Service 2018
On Friday the 9th November, the last school day before Remembrance Sunday we held a whole school assembly to reflect and remember those who lost their lives in ww1. The service started with a welcome prayer and the boys stood to sing the Hymn, Oh to see the dawn. We then had Miss Wrigley give two readings from the bible followed by a talk from Reuben Hunter from the local Trinity West Church in Shepherds Bush. The service ended with the last post played to us by Y10 Walid Abed and Thomas Lewis Y9 at 11am and the poem, In Flanders Field read by Freddie Stratford – Martin.
