First International Food Market Day
FBS had its first International Food Market Day on 22nd June. Boys had a choice of different countries to choose from to cook a foreign dish. We had Italian, Caribbean, French, British- Indian, Northern Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Hispanic food to name a few. The Caribbean and French stalls were a particular hit with their jerk chicken and Tarte à l’oignon, not forgetting the all-important Welsh cakes of course! We also put together a playlist of music from different countries to fully celebrate diversity in Fulham Boys School. All the money we raised (£310!) will go to the Jungle Book charity in Calais to help refugees. Well done boys, we’re already looking forward to IFMD 2017!
